The position:
As a Talent Development Manager you will play an integral role in the development and management of talent development processes and programs.
Under the direction of the Director of Talent Development, the Talent Development Manager will own operational responsibilities, program development, and business partnership.
This includes working with subsidiaries and business leadership to strategically align career paths and development programs to current needs in conjunction with trainings and development programs that have already been established.
Other assigned tasks include:
Managing key talent development programs throughout the enterprise,
Documenting and defining the talent development process,
Facilitating microlearning content creation,
Using learning needs assessments and stakeholder surveys to formulate the overall design of development programs,
Spending time in the workplace of the target group and understand their challenges, opportunities, and circumstances to make program content relevant,
Creating learning objectives, curriculum, and supporting materials for development programs,
Collecting feedback and integrating into future development programs,
Facilitating training and leadership development programs as needed,
What makes you successful:
A successful Talent Development Manager needs to have:
Strong business acumen,
Background in talent management and learning & development,
7+ years in talent or learning related field,
Strong emotional intelligence,
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with business leaders, and
Ability to thing strategically and develop long-term business solutions to business issues.
