Building Inspector I, II, III

The City of Saratoga Springs currently has an opening for a Building Inspector III.
This is a full-time, non-exempt, position with the Saratoga Springs Building Department of approximately 40 hours per week.
This position is under the specific supervision of the Building Official.
This position includes performing inspections on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings; to accomplish this a variety of working level, Para-professional and technical duties are needed to assure compliance with city, county, state, and/or federal, international building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, energy fuel gas, and fire codes and ordinances.
This opening may be filled with Inspector I, II, III or any combination of these.
We are willing to train Inspector I's that have at least one residential certification.
