Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team.
As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our manufacturing facility.
This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers
- Ensure that production targets are met within the specified time frame
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards
- Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Provide guidance and support to team members, addressing any performance issues or concerns
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and improve efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of production data and report any deviations or issues to management
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline operations and reduce waste
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong technical knowledge in areas such as machining, construction painting, lean manufacturing, welding, forklift operation, materials handling, crane operation, fabricating, basic math, and power tool usage
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office applications
