About the Position
As a Construction Project Admin, you will ensure successful accomplishment of project goals and objectives through outstanding communication skills and ability to foster client relationships.

Organizational Relationships:
· Accountable to UDOT project team overseen by Bruce Utley and Lyndon Friant
· Takes daily direction from Bruce Utley and Lyndon Friant
Primary Responsibilities:
In your role as Construction Project Administration Specialist, you will be part of our growing team by performing the functions and duties listed below:
Construction Engineering
· Project Federal EEO/Labor specialists
· Davis Bacon Wage Reviews
· Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBE) Compliance
· ProjectWise electronic filing
· UDOT Masterworks accounting system includes contractor payments, subcontract approvals, project material files, bid item tracking and postings
· Subcontractor prompt payments and certified payroll reviews
· Project accounting
· Aide in submittal reviews
· Project and item ledgers
· Coordinate with UDOT personnel for contract questions and approvals
· Federal project closeout documentation
Other
· Proactively seek opportunities for cross-selling to enhance and expand our existing client relationships during and after projects.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by Office Construction Engineering Manager.
Experience & Certifications Required:
· Related construction experience or project accounting preferred
· Proven track record of fostering existing client relationships
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
· Strong team communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
· Self-motivated, engaged, and team-oriented with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
· Demonstrate personal investment in your career
· Energetic and flexible in order to perform in fast-paced environment and resolve challenges
· Confident and forward thinking
· Handle multiple tasks under pressure and prioritize responsibilities
· Demonstrates outstanding verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR
Occasional travel required
Physical Requirements
The team member will be primarily working at a computer, but will also travel to project sites to conduct EEO training and other job related needs.
Working Conditions
The team member will be required to occasionally work at night or during alternate working hours, as well as travel overnight for out of town projects and/or to other offices.
