*Job Description-*
*Develop and Implement Safety Programs: *Design, implement, and maintain safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Create safety policies and procedures specific to the project and ensure their effective communication to all personnel.
*Safety Inspections and Audits: *Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and rectify potential hazards.
Collaborate with project management to address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
*Training and Orientation: *Provide safety training and orientations to new employees and contractors.
Ensure that all personnel are aware of safety procedures and guidelines.
*Incident Investigation: *Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence.
Document and report findings to project management and relevant authorities as required.
*Safety Communication: *Facilitate regular safety meetings to discuss current safety issues, updates, and initiatives.
Communicate safety-related information to project stakeholders effectively.
*Emergency Preparedness: *Develop and implement emergency response plans.
Conduct drills and exercises to ensure that all personnel are familiar with emergency procedures.
*Regulatory Compliance: *Stay informed about changes in safety regulations and ensure project compliance.
Interface with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
*Safety Reporting: *Prepare and submit safety reports as required by regulatory agencies and project management.
Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities.
*Safety Equipment and Gear: *Oversee the proper use and maintenance of safety equipment and personal protective gear.
Ensure that the project site is equipped with necessary safety resources.
*Education: *High School Diploma or GED required.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business, Engineering, or similar preferred.
College degree desired, preferably in environmental health and safety discipline.
*Licensure/Certifications: *OSHA 30 Construction required.
CPR/FA Certified (Trainer Preferred), along with other safety certifications desired.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $32.
