Cabinet & Millwork Shop Technician

*CABINET & MILLWORK SHOP TECHNICIAN* We provide and install architectural millwork for hotels, restaurants, store fronts, TI’s and other commercial projects.
This includes but is not limited to: moldings, cabinets, casework, reception desks, wall panels etc.
We are looking for a candidate to join our team that likes to work with their hands and is detail oriented and takes pride in their work.
*Responsibilities:* · Listen to Management and help to ascertain their needs · Ability to assemble cabinets, laminate and veneer panels and build custom pieces · Ability to help with finish and finish prep · Ability to learn and run and maintain cabinet shop equipment including CNC Router, saws, edge bander, sander, etc.
· Ensure shop cleanliness and safety standards are being met · Maintain an organized shop with an efficient workflow pattern · Oversee quality of products to maintain AWI standards · Take ownership with the completion of projects on time · Look for ways to increase production or to be more efficient while maintaining quality *Experience:* · Ability to learn or to read blue prints and fabrication drawings · Ability to read a measuring tape and operate hand tools and saws required for production · Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to be on feet most of the day *Qualifications:* · Must be able to pass background and random drug tests · Must be dependable and reliable · Must be detailed oriented · Must be approachable and get along well with others · Must have good listening and verbal communication skills *Compensation:* · Full time (hourly) – $16.
