*Job Summary:*
As a Field Foreman, you will play a crucial role in managing and executing the construction activities related to our telecommunications projects.
You will be responsible for overseeing a team of skilled technicians, ensuring the successful implementation of fiber optic infrastructure, and ensuring the quality and safety of our work.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Plan, schedule, and execute fiber optic installation projects, including pulling fiber, blowing fiber, and vault installation, in accordance with project requirements and timelines.
* Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction managers to ensure project goals are met.
_Team Leadership:_
* Supervise and lead a team of technicians, assigning tasks, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
_Quality Assurance:_
* Ensure that all work is completed to high-quality standards, adhering to industry best practices, and in compliance with relevant regulations.
_Safety Compliance:_
* Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment for the team.
_Resource Management:_
* Manage equipment, tools, and materials needed for construction activities, ensuring they are used efficiently and maintained properly.
_Documentation:_
* Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, work orders, and any other necessary documentation.
_Communication:_
* Maintain positive and professional relationships with team and work closely with Construction Manager
_Problem Solving:_
* Identify and address project-related issues, providing innovative solutions to overcome challenges as they arise.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
* High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or certifications are a plus)
* Proven experience in fiber optic infrastructure installation, including fiber pulling, blowing, and vault installation
* Demonstrated leadership and management skills
* Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the construction industry
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* OSHA certification is a plus.
* CDL is a plus
