Installer/Shop Assistant - Shutters and Blinds

Job Description Sunburst Shutters sells and installs interior shutters and window treatments.
We are seeking a detail oriented, self-starting individual with general workmanship skills to assist our install team with installation of our products in customer's homes and work in our warehouse on shutter assembly operations.
Responsibility * Help lead installer with installation of interior shutters, blinds and barn doors * Receive product shipments * Frame and hinge shutters * Follow installation schedule and ensure shutter prep is completed on time * Maintain warehouse cleanliness * Monthly inventory * Maintain product supplies as needed * Stage product for installers Abilities and Experience * Prior general workmanship skills a plus, but willing to train * Friendly and courteous with all types of people * Strong communication skills for interfacing with customers * Punctual and dependable * Ability to work both independently and with a team * Use of basic tools (cordless drill, table saw and chop saw) * Ability to use pallet jack * Lift up to 75 lbs (occasionally) Requirements * Valid Driver's License * Ability to pass background check as required by Big Box stores We Offer * Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits * Friendly work environment * Paid Time Off Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.
