As our Jr.
Business Development Specialist, you will be the main driver for new customers at TCI.
In this role, you will often be the first interaction a client will have with TCI.
Your day-to-day will consist of building and managing a healthy pipeline, client analysis, competitive analysis, concept discussion, customer relationship management, and purchase order management.
We are looking for highly motivated candidates who are interested in a career in B2B sales within the nutraceutical and/or cosmeceutical industry.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with an international team and work with some of the world’s best brands in health, wellness, and fitness.
Responsibilities
Create new business opportunities for TCI via emails, cold-calls, networking, events, and other creative ways.
Maintain over 200 episodes of business activities a month.
Identify & analyze customer/country/market-specific opportunities.
Lead and contribute to RFP/RFQ responses and contract negotiations.
Deliver presentations and discuss new product ideas with customers.
Partner with Project Managers and R&D teams to understand new products/technologies, facilitate the development of projects and create new business opportunities.
Gather market and client feedback for management and internal teams.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree
1+ Experience in pitching products/services, especially nascent concepts, to customers.
Willingness to travel to clients and overseas.
Consistent and successful track record of hitting goals.
Nice to Have
A degree in biology, food science, or nutrition
Sales or internship experience in the private label/contracted manufacturer service of cosmeceutical/nutraceutical industry
Experience with International Trading (logistic/Incoterms), E-Commerce and Channel Management
