Specialist- Parking Lead- Assistant

Position Announcement Join our team as a Parking Services Specialist! You'll be responsible for maintaining parking areas across our campus.
Your duties will include painting marking lines and curbs in parking lots and roadways, installing, maintaining, and removing signage, cleaning and sweeping parking lots, roadways, and storm drains, and ensuring the upkeep of all equipment related to these tasks.

Summary of Responsibilities Painting curbs using gas powered paint pumps.
Paint and line markings in parking lots and roads.
Operate Kubota RTV with trailers, trucks and cars with trailers.
Operate smaller equipment such as leaf blowers, power post drivers, power hand tools and small tractors.
machinery and equipment.
Cleaning/maintenance of parking lots, roads, and their signage, using street sweeper equipment.
Operate equipment and perform maintenance/cleaning/care of job all related equipment.
Cleaning out drains and drain boxes.
Snow removal, shoveling, spreading salt, and snowplow.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Prefer knowledge of airless paint pumps, small gas engine operation/maintenance, and a general knowledge of installation and maintenance concrete/asphalt surfaces.
Licenses or Certifications Valid Class D Drivers License Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities Knowledge A basic knowledge of paint and paint striping pumps/ airless sprayers.
Knowledge of signs and posts and fasteners.
Basic knowledge of hand tools and their use.
Knowledge of medium/heavy equipment and its basic use and maintenance Skills Skilled in striping/painting curb, signage/roadway markers, operating and maintaining all job related equipment.
Abilities Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
Able to work alone and/or as a team.
Able operate mechanical equipment.
