Quality is instrumental in the line of defense to maintain our rigorous internal standards.
You team, which includes a QC Supervisor, Document Control Specialist and Training Manager, are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in order to ensure the highest standards in quality manufacturing.
Your team will ensure that the organization’s products and services are in compliance with the company’s quality requirements, in addition to complying with customer and regulatory requirements for quality, safety, and reliability.
This position will have responsibilities in our production facilities in Orem and American Fork, Utah.
Responsibilities Oversee quality assurance strategies to ensure company objectives are met in the areas of exceptional operational safety, product quality, and internal control policies and programs.
Oversee training, development, recognition, retention, and performance management of the team to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees.
Maintain a clean, safe and injury-free work environment by ensuring health and safety procedures are understood and executed by all employees.
Implement process changes, technologies, and methods that maximize operational quality.
Oversee inspection schedules and requirements on all raw material, components, bulk material, work in progress, and finished goods for approval/rejection based on specifications.
Ensure standards are kept for the facility to be "tour ready" at any time, and complies with, or exceeds, all FDA, QMS, CGMP, OSHA, and health and safety compliance guidelines and requirements.
Uphold a high level of integrity in all communications and tasks carried out.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by training staff and following all internal operating procedures and ensuring compliance with legal regulations and CGMP standards.
Qualifications We’re Looking For: At least 6 years of progressively responsible experience (3 in a people management role) in Quality manufacturing environment.
Prior experience in Cosmetic, Dietary Supplement, or Food manufacturing is a plus.
A bachelor’s degree in Quality, Operations Management, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
Certification(s): PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) or in a quality-related discipline (e.
g.
, CQA, CMQ/OE, PMP) required.
Must have proven ability to lead a diverse team of specialists.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with people at all levels are essential.
Acute Attention to Detail.
Able to demonstrate strong organizational and managerial skills.
Strong analytical, active listening, critical thinking, and judgment skills Bilingual language (English and Spanish) skills are a plus.
