Supply Chain & Sourcing Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain & Sourcing Manager to join our dynamic operations team.
In this new role you will wear multiple hats - acting as a project manager, leading strategic sourcing initiatives and handling contract negotiations while nurturing strong supplier relationships.
What you will be doing: Supplier Selection and Management: Identify and evaluate potential contract manufacturers to ensure their capabilities align with our quality and production requirements.
Manage ongoing relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to maintain rigorous standards in product quality, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and certifications.
Cost Efficiency: Continuously assess and improve the cost-effectiveness of our supply chain, including production costs, logistics, and inventory management.
Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute a sourcing strategy that aligns with our business objectives, reduces risks, and maximizes opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Supply Chain Optimization: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain processes and improve the efficiency of product delivery.
Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service level agreements.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, ensuring continuity of supply and minimal disruptions.
Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supplier performance, cost savings, and process improvements.
Leads the third-party manufacturing team.
Responsible for the operation of global locally sourcing initiatives · Other duties as assigned.
What we expect from you: Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Management, or related field; MBA or CSCP certification is a plus.
In addition, this candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in sourcing and supplier management in similar related industry and have a strong understanding of GMP 21 CFR Parts 820 (Medical Devices), 211 (Drugs/OTCs) and General Wellness products and industry-specific regulatory requirements.
This candidate must have a proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships, reducing costs, and improving supply chain efficiency.
They must have excellent negotiation and contract management skills, excellent process and project management skills who has exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Must have effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
