National Salvage and Service is seeking to hire an Equipment Operator for the Civil Division.

Essential Job Functions:
Installation of underground utility pipes
Covering pipes with earth or other materials
Ensure pipes are properly aligned, leveled, and plumbed during installation
Dig trenches to correct specifications
Read and interpret blueprints to determine pipe layout and installation requirements
Ability to set up and inspect equipment daily
Capability to complete online daily equipment inspections
Ability to make adjustments and perform minor repairs to equipment if needed
Qualifications:
Must have at least 2 years’ experience with excavation and underground utilities
3+ years heavy power equipment experience (Track Hoe, Dozer, Skid Steer, and/or Loader)
Comfortable getting in/out of equipment throughout the day
Comfortable being part of a team and a team player
Demonstrating personal integrity, resilience, and respect for others
Ability to communicate well under pressure
Follow OSHA regulations as well as company safety policies and procedures
Physical Requirements: Stand, Walk, Climb, Bend, Twist, Move Throughout the Day, Use Hands in Repetitive Motions, Repeat Same Movements, walk on uneven terrain, Lift 50 pounds, Exposed to Loud Noises, and all-weather elements.
Ability to work long shifts over 8 hours.
Must be able to pass a pre-offer drug test
