Job Title: Cycle Counter
Department: Inventory
Reports to: Supervisor
Essential Functions Include:
Maintains inventory cycle count and physical inventory program.
Compiles, verifies, enters, and reports on inventory levels daily.
Provides periodic statistical information to management regarding trends as related to inventory levels.
Performs “live production” picking function for materials as requested by the Master Scheduler to ascertain that all components are available and accounted for.
Ensures overall compliance with inventory processes and procedures as well as contractual obligations.

Excellent communication and people skills
Possesses average computer skills including the use of software programs such as Excel, Access, and Word
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience skills preferred.
Maintains strong organizational skills with attention to time management.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to determine and communicate inventory issues as well as recommend solutions.
At least one year experience operating both a sit down and stand-up forklift
Comprehensive understanding of stock management
Understanding of transport, distribution, and logistics
Perform all other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 pounds on own and up to 100 pounds with assistance
Ability to walk/stand for long durations (duration of shift excluding breaks)
Use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation
Ability to perform specific tasks that involve climbing and kneeling
Frequent exposure to dust and debris from the production process
Frequent exposure to loud noises
Frequent exposure to extreme temperatures
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and frequent fine finger dexterity.
Generally, the job requires the following percentages of time committed to physical activity: 50% or more sitting, 50% or more walking/standing.
The job is performed under frequent temperature variations and in a food manufacturing warehouse environment.
