*Position Summary*
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible the efficient and effective execution of the contract.
The Program Manager works closely with the Government Contracting Officer Representative and the Corporate Contract Manager in conjunction with working with contract employees, Government representatives, installation leadership and Corporate headquarters staff.
The PM is overall responsible for staff performance and verifying that deliverables are in accordance with established quality assurance standards.
*Essential Functions of the Position*
* Serve as the primary point of contact with the Government and manage operations at the installation level.
* Attend briefings, conferences, and other Government designated meetings as required in the execution of this effort or as requested by the COR.
* Be prepared to serve as a member of the Installation Year-End Close-out Army Working Capital Fund Control Committee.
* Interview and recommend selection of job applicants.
* Provides guidance to all section leads to ensure successful execution of the contract.
*Supervisory Responsibilities*
The PM is directly responsible for all aspects of the effort and operates with minimal oversight from the corporate headquarters to execute the effort with minimal guidance from the corporate management.
*Physical Demands*
* Required to walk, stand, sit and move about the property for long periods of time.
* Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
*Work Environment*
* Indoor/Outdoor; exposure to external environmental conditions possible.
* Noise level can range from minimal to intense.
*Required Minimum Qualifications*
* Must be highly qualified and possess general supervisory experience, supply management experience and transportation experience directly applicable to this effort.
* Must have specific management experience in retail-level supply, maintenance, and asset management.
* Must have general knowledge of the logistics info systems that pertain to the areas with in the PWS.
* Must possess in-depth knowledge of supply program relationships, concepts and methodologies pertaining to supply/property book accountability and supply areas of logistics operations.
* Must understand ISO and quality system program level functions.
* Must have a minimum fifteen (15) years of management experience in army logistics operations.
* Must have experience with financial management and knowledge of army logistics information systems.
* Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Must have strong organizational and group presentation skills.
* Well-developed multi-tasking and time management skills.
* Must have computer literacy skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
* Possess a Valid Drivers' License without special restrictions.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Bachelor's degree is preferred from an accredited College or University in related field.
