Performs general duties in and around the buildings of the facility including equipment installation, repair and maintenance, new construction and remodels.

Job Essentials
1.
Performs corrective maintenance and repairs on defective mechanical equipment to ensure equipment operates in an effective manner.
Completes appropriate documentation in a timely manner.
2.
Performs preventative maintenance as assigned to ensure optimum operating efficiency and safety requirements are met.
3.
Performs inspections on all incoming equipment per Intermountain Engineering Guidelines.
4.
Installs equipment as assigned.
5.
Maintains tools and test equipment in proper operating condition.
6.
Performs or assists in minor technical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing repairs as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance procedures.

Experience with a variety of construction and maintenance skills; such as minor technical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing repairs.
- and -
Proven ability to trouble shoot and repair maintenance issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Trade school in either construction, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical
