About the Role
Dandy is seeking an experienced Product Cost Analyst to join our rapidly expanding, venture-backed company in Lehi, Utah.
As a key member of our team, you will serve as the finance liaison for our manufacturing operations, reporting directly to the Site Controller.
This role involves establishing the groundwork for financial reporting and analysis at our production facility and contributing to the development of operational accounting processes and procedures essential for our company's scalability.
Moreover, you'll be instrumental in crafting robust costing and financial reporting processes, playing a pivotal role in the company's financial framework at our production facility.
The ideal candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills, excel in a dynamic environment, and uphold an ownership mentality to effectively prioritize deliverables and meet deadlines.
What You'll Do
Collaborate as a financial business partner, facilitating communication among Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain Managers, FP&A, HR, and various other teams.
Deliver timely and precise analyses of monthly financial data and trends to support site leadership in their decision-making processes.
Take responsibility for standard costing of both new and existing products, encompassing the creation and upkeep of cost cards.
Assess labor reporting, material costs, manufacturing overhead, distribution expenses, returns, and inventory levels; conduct investigations and provide reports on variances.
Expect approximately 5%-10% of travel as part of this role.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
2-3 years of work experience in related field
Exhibits application of analytical abilities and collaborative mindset
High Excel proficiency
Strong organizational, data mining, analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
Strong understanding of product costing and inventory management
Accustomed to multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting multiple tight deadlines in a constantly evolving, fast-paced environment
Highly organized with impeccable attention to detail and relentless follow-through
Proactive and able to work autonomously when necessary
The ideal candidate is curious, enthusiastic, and not afraid to ask questions
