*Job Summary*
This position is a perfect job for someone wanting to begin a career as a diesel mechanic.

Tasks will include but aren't limited to:
* Weekly maintenance on company vehicles/heavy and small machinery
* Repairs on company pick-up trucks, semi -trucks, and heavy and small machinery
* Capable of performing oil changes, lubrications, maintenance, greasing machinery
* Changing brakes and tires
* Have your own tools
* Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with factory standards.
* Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.
* Communicates with service advisor/dispatcher immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
* Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
* Road tests vehicles when required.
* Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs.
* Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor.
* Ensures that vehicle is kept clean.
Notifies service advisor/dispatcher immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
* Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
* Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
* Replacing or repairing tires.
* Collecting and recording equipment hours quarterly.
* Checking driver's inspection sheets.
* Performs preventative maintenance.
Full-Time position - 50 hours minimum with overtime every week.
Normal schedule will be Monday-Friday, 7 AM- 5 PM, depending on work demands.
Occasional Saturdays may be required.
*Qualifications*
* Requires minimum 8 year of mechanic knowledge/experience
* Diesel Engine, Truck & Heavy Equipment Mechanics (5 Years Required)
* Must pass a background check, driving record check, drug screening and E-Verify.
