About the Job As a process technician in one of our clean rooms, your responsibilities may include being responsible for performing technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers.
Once the product is on the line, the process technician monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators.
Process technicians also test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.
This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.
Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material.
Location: Lehi, Utah Pay: This is an hourly position.
Earn *$27.

to start **Listed hourly rates are calculated by dividing total daily earnings (straight time pay + overtime pay + shift differential, if applicable) by 11.
5 hours including 2 paid breaks.
Shift: Work 12 hour shifts on a fixed, compressed schedule, allowing for 3-4 days off in a row and built in overtime.

Educational assistance for career growth and development Responsibilities: Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems Texas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.
Minimum requirements: One of the following: Technical Certificate in Process Technology, Data Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field, OR Equivalent Military Electronics training, OR 3+ years of hands-on technical maintenance experience, OR 3+ years of experience processing wafers in a manufacturing semiconductor environment in an advanced manufacturing role Must be at least 18 years of age Flexible to work days, nights or weekends and holidays Preferred qualifications: Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance Good troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems Excellent organizational, teaming and troubleshooting skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions Ability to take the initiative and drive for results Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationship Why TI?
