*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* Performs materials handling and storage.
* Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are being followed.
Brings any problems to the attention of the truck manager.
* Perform other job duties as assigned.
* Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
* Collect delivery instructions daily from the Truck Manager, verifying instructions and routes.
* Secure cargo for transport using ropes, blocks, chains, binders, or covers.
* Maintain logs of working hours and of vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles immediately.
* Must plan route to insure most economical use of time and equipment.
* Work with traffic control to ensure all safety procedures are being followed and not disrupting traffic or causing potential hazard to other vehicles and pedestrians.
*Work Environment*
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions.
The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, cold weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals and vibrations.
The noise level is generally quiet while driving, but loud once in the field.
*Position Type/Expected Hours of Work*
* Full Time position.
50 hours minimum with overtime every week.
Monday-Friday, 630am – 5pm, hours may vary depending on work demands.
Occasional Saturdays may be required.

* Flatbed Experience
* Class A CDL required with Triple & Double Endorsement
