JOB TITLE: Process Gas/Chem/Water Project Manager SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project/Construction Manager for Semiconductor specializing in Process Systems- Process Piping, Bulk Gas, Chemicals, and Water systems.
Preferred candidates for this position will have demonstrated success with previous construction experience working directly with a Client or General Contractor and must be self-motivated, technical skilled, highly organized, clearly communicate and have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in high purity specialty gases.
Candidates’ work history must represent increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis throughout their career.
Looking after Spec-Gas/BCD and mechanical work scopes on a large-scale construction project Carrying out daily VF/Incremental coordinator on trade contractor’s gas systems/chemical systems/water systems, and mechanical lines/systems.
Attending taskforce meetings.
Measuring, monitoring, and reporting on the trade contractor’s progress in the field from a quality perspective Attending weekly PIT meetings, delivering relevant presentations updating weekly progress Carrying out Quality Incident Assessments Work with on-site Client/Owner team to plan, organize, and supervise multiple projects from inception through design, construction, commissioning, and close-out.
Maintain productive relationships with internal business partners and customers.
Communicate project status to Client management, internal customers, and external parties as appropriate.
Utilize and become proficient in the use of construction management programs being considered for use (i.
e.
Microsoft Project, EXCEL, etc.
) Ensure projects scope, schedule, budgets, and forecasts are developed and being tracked and executed to projects’ goals.
Coordinating with Local Government Agencies Maintain good relationship with CM, Trade labor and encourage craft productive improvements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS Ability to work with multiple customers.
Excellent communication skills: ability to work well with internal and external business partners and stakeholders.
Knowledge of Process Bulk Gas/Chemicals/Water systems/Process Piping Ability to communicate within multiple levels in an organization.
Strong analytical skills.
Knowledge and experience in LEAN construction practices.
Minimum of 5+ Years’ Experience in executing or managing construction in the Semiconductor, Industrial, Chemical, Gas and Oil or other manufacturing markets.
AA/BS/MS degree in Construction Management, Journeyman Process Piping, or Mechanical Engineering background is required.
