The Position:
Paul Davis Restoration is looking for a Professional, Hard Working, and Reliable individual to assist Project Managers with the completion of restoration and remodeling projects by completing carpentry, general laborer, or punch-list items, as requested.
This is an extremely important role in our company, and we are looking for the best of the best to fill it.
Perform finish carpentry (ie.
drywall, trim work, and paint) and other construction-related work
Be knowledgeable about building products, new products, building technologies, etc.
Keep an eye out for safety concerns when on-site at losses or at the office
Communicate with Management and all internal/external Customers
Obtain & maintain additional IICRC certifications, when requested by management
Follow & enforce established safety practices including proper use of PPE, when required
Other related activities as requested by project managers or estimating staff
Maintain the efficiency of production (i.
e.
store trips, driving efficiencies, work produced by day)
All work will be performed according to company policies & procedures aligning with the Mission, Goals, and Values of Paul Davis Restoration.
All work will be performed in accordance with the laws and regulations in the jurisdiction(s) in which Paul Davis Restoration operates.
All work will be performed in accordance with safety regulations pertaining to this work.
All communication with customers will be timely, informative, and courteous.
Employees will behave in a professional and mature manner when representing the company; NO profanity, NO horseplay, etc.
Company equipment and vehicles will be kept neat, clean, and in working order at all times.
Employees will ALWAYS wear a company uniform in good repair when representing the company
The employee will use their own tools
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
3-5 years of carpentry experience preferred
Valid driver's license with a good driving history
Ability to develop, learn, and properly apply operating and work procedures
Ability to plan and organize work
Ability to read and interpret written and/or oral instructions
Ability to work cooperatively with employees, contractors/vendors, outside agencies, and the public
Ability to pass a respirator physical and FIT test
Physical Requirements:
Lift (constantly) 5-40 lbs.

Frequent standing, climbing, kneeling, balancing, lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, for 8-12+ hours per day
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Exposure to weather with temperatures ranging from mild/moderate to extreme cold/heat.
Exposure to noise levels ranging from moderate to loud from occasional to frequent.
