We are looking for a self-starting, Machine Operator who will report to the Production Manager in our Orem, Manufacturing Facility.
The shift for this position will be M-F 2:30pm - 10pm with most major holidays off.

Summary/Objective
The machine operator position learns and operates assigned production equipment performs basic preventative maintenance, assist in training new employees and helps in all other areas of production.
Essential Functions

Responsible for start-up, operation, change over, shut down and preventative maintenance of assigned production equipment.
Operates multiple processes on high speed automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment
Perform manual tasks such as loading and supplying production line items, reworking product, and loading conveyors.
Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required per the P.
M.
charts.
Completes all documentation accurately and timely.
Responsible for producing quality finished goods, identifying and eliminating non-conforming products.
Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-up.
Complete required tasks related to the operation of the assigned manufacturing area
Follow company policies, cGMP's and Standard Operating Procedures

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1 year of food/dietary supplement manufacturing experience.
Machine operator experience preferred.
Training in general safety, electrostatic discharge awareness, foreign object damage awareness, and quality system awareness.
