WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR S&B is seeking an experienced Business Developer who can assist our team with creating and developing our B2B and Real Estate sales structure.
We need someone passionate to help our rapidly growing company bring on new clients.
We need someone familiar with landscape sales including maintenance and snow removal with excellent communication and leadership skills.
DESCRIPTION: We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our team as a Business Developer.
As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our landscaping services to potential customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.
Identify and develop new leads and potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
2.
Conduct thorough research on each potential client's needs, preferences, and property requirements.
3.
Schedule and attend meetings with prospective clients to understand their landscaping requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
4.
Prepare and present professional sales proposals to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our landscaping services.
5.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
6.
Collaborate with our landscape design and installation teams to create accurate project estimates for clients.
7.
Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring they align with both our company's and the client's objectives.
8.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and client information in our CRM system.
9.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and competitor analysis to continuously improve sales strategies and techniques.
10.
Participate in trade shows, community events, and other networking opportunities to promote our landscaping services and generate leads.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
Proven work experience as a business developer or similar role, preferably in the landscaping or construction industry.
2.
Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of exceeding sales targets.
3.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships with clients.
4.
Self-motivated and results-driven with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
5.
In-depth knowledge of landscaping and horticulture practices, including familiarity with different plants, materials, and design concepts.
6.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage and track sales activities.
7.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client meetings and project sites, as required.
8.
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with other team members and departments in a fast-paced environment.
9.
Flexibility to work weekends or evenings, as needed, to accommodate client schedules and project deadlines.
10.
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
