This is an salary wage position.
Base wage is $60-85,000 and is based on experience.
Paid Vacation will be provided.
One (1) week of vacation will be provided per annum and will increase based on years of service.
The company offers six (6) paid holidays.
Cellphone and mileage reimbursements are offered based on usage.
Job Summary
Plans, develops, and establishes systems and procedures for production and fabrication related activities in accordance with directives established by the President or General Manager, by performing duties personally or through subordinates.
Manage sign projects through all production phases from Sale to Installation.
Responsibilities
The Production Manager is responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of fabrication, production, and installation processes.
This involves coordination among departments to ensure that service and quality objectives are fulfilled.
He/she helps to manage the customer’s experience with the company and its employees.
Other duties may be assigned.
A responsibility is an area you oversee and administrate.
Often this includes delegating the task.
The Production Manager, however, holds the accountability.
This frequently involves setting up a system to see that the responsibility is fulfilled.
Engages with Sales & Estimation during estimating process to ensure estimates and production standards are aligned
Review all production folders for completeness
Totals all completed production folders and processes as necessary.
Refills or prints out forms as needed.
Performs QC checks on all fabrication, production and installation activities and processes, ensuring all are meeting standards of quality, accuracy, efficiency and timeliness
Responsible for general production filing on an as-needed basis.
Responsible for fabrication equipment backup system.
Analyzes and organizes production operations and procedures, such as CNC & Equipment management and maintenance, in conjunction with Office Manager and Owner.
Responsible for maintaining CRM for tracking supplier, subcontractor, and vendor activity.
Researches and develops resources/systems that create timely and efficient workflows.
Establishes uniform correspondence procedures and style practices.
Procures production & project supplies within budget guidelines.
Follow purchase order procedures.
Ensures timely incoming and outgoing raw materials and completed sign projects
Fulfills errands for production team on an as-needed basis.
Audits and communicates complaints with management/ownership.
Recommends to Owner / General Manager service improvements and other procedures to prevent future complaints of similar nature.
Responsible for production area maintenance, making sure equipment and tools are inspected and maintained at regular intervals

Possess High School Diploma or equivalent
Possess valid Drivers License
Minimum of three years experience in a sign production position -or- minimum of 5 years in general production position.
Excellent communication skills in fluent English, including the ability to present and speak in public
Ability to exercise integrity at the moment of choice
Ability to think and reason strategically
Comprehensive computer skills including software (Windows, Office, database experience), hardware, programs, and applications
Proven experience in a supervisory capacity
