Requirements for superintendent
Knowledge: 10+ years.
Cone crushers, Jaw Crushers, HSI, Screening
5+years management
Knowledgeable in all aspects of crushing plant.
Crushers, conveyors, screens, electrical, etc.
Must have good communication and management skills, lead, and ASSIST crew in repairs.
Able to see, sample and adjust gradations.
Responsible for leading and directing the day-to-day operations of the Pit, meet production and maintenance goals, assist with training and scheduling of the crew.
Must be able to work as a team and have a high commitment to safety.
Knowledgeable in the safe and efficient operation of dozers, loaders, and all crushing plant operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervising, training, and motivating crew members for optimum performance.
(A Superintendent/Foreman’s attitude and actions dictate the crew’s momentum, efforts, and productivity.
)
Accurate and on time daily paperwork (B2W Track daily logs) turned in by 9:00 am the following day.
Care and maintenance of equipment and tools.
Report any damage or maintenance to the Service Manager.
Keeping at or below the project budget.
Beating budget on a regular basis.
Scheduling equipment, labor, material deliveries, etc.
for maximum performance.
Maintaining daily paperwork and timely documentation in logbooks and B2W’s reports.
Enforcing all Safety and Quality Control policies and procedures at all times.
Setting an example of work standards and performance for others on the job.
Maintaining good public relations with all those associated with the job, including, but not limited to, owners, customers, subcontractors, employees, and the general public.
Responsible for reporting changes in the scope of work to the Project Manager.
