Automation and Measurement Electrician

Wage: $20-$30 depending on experience Duties and responsibilities The primary duty is to execute field installs of various electrical, automation, and instrumentation equipment.
Assist Automation and SCADA engineers in troubleshooting systems from the field Provide on-call support to various clients’ Provide documentation of work completed Maintain industry standard health and safety compliance Other duties as assigned Work alongside journeyman electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
Learn to interpret and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to effectively perform tasks.
Terminate wires and cable to breakers and control panels.
Some mechanical and electrical knowledge of components related to the electrical industry.
Experience with process automation controls and equipment preferred.
Qualifications Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in MS Office High school degree Enrolled in an electrical apprenticeship program.
Working conditions Normal working hours are Monday thru Thursday 7:00 a.
m.
to 6:00 p.
m.
24/7 On-Call Rotations Working with clients Working in hazardous locations Must use proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Education Required High School or better
