POSITION OVERVIEW
Is responsible for inspecting, repairing, and testing vehicles following Commercial Tire Standards; completing preventive maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, alignments, replacing filters, and fluid exchanges for light truck, heavy duty trucks, semi-tractors, material spreaders, 6-wheelers, excavators, skidders, and other heavy duty equipment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Completed vehicle inspection every time and communicates to the front counter the items that are may need to be repaired.
Consistently Inspect and recommend needed repairs and/or services using the vehicles inspection report.
Perform vehicle alignments according to manufacturer’s specifications
Responsible for Maintaining shop equipment and safety practices
Detect and perform mechanical issues, installation and repairs to brake, steering, suspension, transmission etc.
Recommend products and services as needed
May initiate purchase orders for parts, support and track purchasing and returns
Completes all necessary training within 1 year and is required to maintain certifications.
ASE A1 – Engine Repair
ASE A7 – Heat and Air Systems
ASE A6 – Electrical Systems
Maintain a clean and neat work area.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
Supports company safety and operational standards and adheres to all audit requirements.
609 AC certification is required for air conditioning service repair.
Participates in and completes all required trainings.
Completes jobs in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS – Unless indicated otherwise, these are preferred
18 years or older, valid driver’s license and insurable driving record (required)
High school diploma or equivalent
3 to 5 years related experience and/or technical training (required)
ASE certification A4 and A5 (Required)
